My youngest daughter had a friend over on Sunday. Tegan is 7 now and into every little thing. It's a balance of finding things for them to do, checking on that they are doing but also giving them the freedom to explore and and just be kids. It came to the point in the day where they wanted to hang out in the car and play - which is a game where they pretend they are teenagers - and instead I suggested we go on a walk.
Sunday was beautiful, no jackets required in the barn!

Hasn't the extra sunshine just been wonderful? I can't wait to open the windows and let in the warm air of spring - soon, very soon.
